I’m still around, just not real impressed with this new format. I guess it just takes getting used to. I am glad it let me save all my old stuff, some of it goes back years.

Couple of months

Well I switched over when they first made the announcement that they would be closing Spaces. So far I find it less than appealing over all and rarely use it. I do like that it did allow me to save all my stuff but its just not the same. I was sad to also see when Yahoo 360 closed and started Mash and Multiply. Many of the friends I had on both 360 and Spaces no longer use any form of social networking, including Facebook just because they are tired of them shutting them down after awhile.

Mall to Mall

I did it. I walked the Pensacola Mall to Mall Walk – Making Strides Against Breast Cancer yesterday.  I can not believe how many people showed up 10,000 strong they say that’s double from last year.  Walking down Creighton it was like a sea of PINK.  Men, women, kids, babies in strollers, dogs on leashes, some folks in wheelchairs, all shapes, sizes and colors.  And the good news does not stop there …. $425,000 was raised to help research in this battle.  We need to find a cure, no-one should ever have to suffer this disease.  I thank those that supported me both in spirit and in donations.  You can continue to help year long by visiting ” The Cancer Site” and clicking daily.
